SAVIO VOLPE
FRASERHOOD, VANCOUVER
As the flagship location of Banda Volpi, Savio Volpe embodies the restaurant group's commitment to regional Italian cooking done with precision and warmth. The menu emphasizes wood-fired proteins, house-made pastas, and locally sourced ingredients.
Savio Volpe has been recognized in the Top 10 of Air Canada's enRoute Best New Restaurants list in 2016, Canada's 100 Best Restaurants and the Michelin Guide.
PEPINO’S
COMMERCIAL DRIVE / LITTLE ITALY
Pepino’s strikes a careful balance between casual ease and thoughtfully preserved nostalgia, where vintage charm feels both intentional and alive. It's the kind of place that invites lingering, fueled by generously sized pizzas and towering plates of spaghetti that lean unapologetically toward indulgence.
Think house-made pastas, organic proteins, unreal spaghetti, meatballs, and eggplant parmigiana—dishes that beg to be chased with tiramisu and digestivi. This is the house that spaghetti built, and it has never been in better hands.
CAFFÈ LA TANNA
COMMERCIAL DRIVE / LITTLE ITALY
Neighbours to Pepino's Spaghetti House, the intimate 25-seat restaurant flows seamlessly into a small shop stocked with local and imported home goods, gifts, and pantry essentials. The rhythm of the place shifts gracefully with the hours: mornings belong to espresso, afternoons to fresh pasta rolled daily for pranzo, and evenings to the wine bar, where an all-Italian list of beloved and lesser-known varietals sets the tone for a menu meant to share. Grappa and amari bookend the night.
ELIO VOLPE
CAMBIE VILLAGE
Stunningly designed by Studio Ste. Marie, Elio takes cues from Italy's storied south with a Pacific Northwest lens. The menu is a love letter to coastal cuisine and handmade pastas are the heartbeat of the kitchen, anchored by a magnificent alla vodka and complemented by whispers of truffle and burrata.
The world took notice quickly when Elio Volpe opened, and the osteria earned a coveted spot on Air Canada's Best New Restaurants list for 2024.
